With the included sixteen 6TB 7200 rpm SAS 3.5" hard drives, it transfers data at a rate of up to 3,500 MB/s when the drives are configured into a RAID 5 array. In addition to RAID 5, the RAID controller supports RAID 0, 0 + 1, 6, and JBOD.Provaio has designed this array with sixteen bays that support 2.5" and 3.5" hard drives or SSDs. You can connect optional expansion units via its SAS Expansion bus port to access up to 80 total drives, including the base unit. It features a 3RU form factor and includes 16GB of RAM.
