Professional Rackmountable CD Player with MP3 and WAV playback, 2U Rack Space TASCAM's best-selling CD-160 CD player has been updated to the new CD-200. The new player uses a brand new transport, the TEAC CD-5020A. The new transport is custom designed for audio playback with a smooth loading drawer and low clamping noise. The internal clock has been improved for a smoother sound and decreased jitter. Like the CD-160, the CD-200 has unbalanced phono outputs and S/PDIF digital out on coaxial and optical jacks. MP3 and WAV file playback is supported, and front-panel Folder navigation buttons are provided. A wireless remote control with numerical track select buttons is also included. The CD-200 from Tascam is a professional-quality rackmount CD player designed for installation in retail stores, restaurants, houses of worship, and other venues. The player is compatible with audio CDs, MP3 CDs, and WAV CDs, and has built-in support for CD TEXT and ID3 tags. A memory buffer helps prevent shocks and skips for smooth playback. Playback modes include Continue, Random, and Program, as well as Repeat Single and All.The player offers a ?12% pitch control, available through the RCA line-level outputs. For digital connection, the player offers both coaxial and optical S/PDIF outputs. A front-panel 1/4" headphone jack with an independent level control provides easy monitoring. A wireless remote control is included that gives you full control over all player functions."
